Privacy Policy

Pray for AGI (prayforagi.com) is a parody website operated by Johnisking (존이스킹), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Believer cards. The nickname you type and the sect you choose. Both are shown publicly on the site. We also store a one-way hash of your IP address so we can limit spam sign-ups. We cannot turn the hash back into your IP address. Your browser keeps a small token in local storage so the site remembers your card.

Candles. Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see your card or bank details. PayPal sends us the transaction ID, the amount, the payer email address and payment status, plus the sect and the optional name you entered. The name and sect are shown publicly with your candle. The email address is never shown.

Patron applications. If you apply for a patron candle, we receive the email address, chosen candle, sect, display name and optional message you send so we can reply with an invoice.

Email. If you write to contact@prayforagi.com, we keep your message to answer it.

We do not run ads, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Why we use it

To show the altars and rankings, to process and verify candle purchases, to prevent fraud, spam and abuse (including the daily spending limit), to handle refunds, to answer you, and to meet our accounting and tax obligations.

Who helps us

We use a few service providers who process data for us: PayPal (payments), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (hosting, security and email forwarding), and Google Fonts and jsDelivr (fonts and code libraries, which may see your IP address when your browser loads them). Your information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where these providers operate.

How long we keep it

Believer cards stay until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require, usually up to five years. Patron applications and emails are deleted when they are no longer needed.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing contact@prayforagi.com. We may need to keep payment records that the law requires us to keep. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under local law, such as the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Candle purchases are only for people who can legally use PayPal.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
